Your privacy

This check-in is built to be private by default. Here's exactly what happens to your information, in plain terms.

Your answers stay on your device

The check-in is anonymous — there's no account and no login. Your answers are scored right in your browser and aren't sent to or stored on a server. As you go, your progress is saved on this device so you can leave and pick up where you left off; that saved copy stays only on your device, clears itself after seven days, and is removed automatically once you finish. You can also clear it any time with “Clear my answers” in the check-in — worth doing on a shared computer.

Emailing yourself a copy is optional

If you choose to email your report, we send the summary needed to create it to your address and then discard it — your individual answers are never kept against your email, and we don't store the report or use your address for anything else. If you don't email it, nothing leaves your device at all.

We don't sell or share your data

There are no ads, no trackers selling your information, and no third parties receiving your results. The only outside service involved is the email provider that delivers a report you've asked for.

This is a check-in, not a diagnosis

The results are for self-reflection and can't capture everything about how you're going. They aren't a substitute for advice from a doctor or mental health professional. If anything worries you, your GP is a good place to start — and if you're in distress, Lifeline (13 11 14) is available 24/7.
